Long Covid

  • “I heard about OxyGeneration through a friend and decided to give it a go to try to help with long covid which I have been suffering from since February 2022. Main symptoms (and there are many which come and go!!) were extreme fatigue, breathlessness, tinnitus, neuropathy and weakness, postural hypotension, dizziness and headaches. I was not sure initially if it was helping but after some time I really noticed significant improvements in the quality of sleep, breathlessness and fatigue.   • “I have Long Covid and have lived with its effects for the past 4 years. These include extreme exhaustion and fatigue, constant runny nose, sharp pain in my arms and feet at times.  I developed Epilepsy om March 2020 and severe diverticular disease.   • “I suffered a spinal cord injury in 2009 because of a car crash. Since being in a wheelchair I’ve had issues with pressure sores for the past 6 years, which had been treated by standard of care which was dressing changes and spending a lot of time in bed including in the National Rehabilitation Hospital. I researched other methods for healing pressure sores and now use hyperbaric oxygenation combined with injection of PRP (Protein Rich Plasma). Significantly, after 9 weeks using this treatment for pressure sores has got to a place where two years of bed rest and wound dressing had failed to achieve.   • “I’m Kay – 84 years young since 2nd May.   • “In May 2021, I went into A&E when I developed an Ulcer on the bottom of my Left Ankle. To my astonishment, the doctor informed me that I had broken my ankle in a number of places and that I had sepsis. I immediately underwent surgery to remove the bone fragments and remove the dead tissue that surrounded them. I was left with a 5cm x 5cm x 3 cm hole at the base of my foot and I was told that I had severe Osteomyelitis in my ankle. At a meeting between 3 consultants, Orthopaedics, Infectious Diseases and Vascular, and myself, two of the consultants suggested that the only course of action to kill the infection was to Amputate the ankle. I informed them that I was starting a course of Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment over the next 6 weeks, 5 days a week. Two of the consultants said that it wouldn’t change the outcome while the third was willing to see what had happened after 3 weeks. After 3 weeks of treatment i.e. 15 sessions, the hole in my foot was reduced in size and the infection was under control to the amazement of the Vascular consultant who now asked for this treatment for all of his patients. It took a further 9 weeks of treatment before the wound had completely closed. My knowledge of Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment saved my leg.  I encourage all people suffering from open wounds to seek out such treatment as it benefitted me greatly and open the eyes of three consultants as to its benefits.”

  • “In August of last year, a Galway coach told my dad about this place (OxyGeneration). We did some research and decided to give it a go.   • “In 1993 I had become severely disabled with brain damage as a result of an encounter with a rare form of meningitis – Listeria Meningoencephalitis.   • “I was diagnosed with a large tumour in my prostate two years ago. After cancer treatment, I had some uncomfortable side effects for a long time such as pain while urinating and slow flow. I was recommended to have invasive TURP surgery but I decided to try OxyGeneration first bases on scientific research and case reports. After my 3rd and 4th sessions I started to feel the side effects were starting to ease.  Blockages in the plumbing were easing, flow improved and the incontinent urges to pass water were starting to go.  After five sessions, there was no longer need for the surgery. Not only has the treatment eliminated a lot of pain and discomfort from my daily life it’s a great relief just to know that it has reduced my chances of having to go for TURP surgery.  I am very grateful to OxyGeneration.”
